Girls on the Run of
Southeastern Michigan (GOTR SE MI) is a council of Girls
on the Run International. Incorporated in 2002, we serve
the counties of Washtenaw, Livingston, Monroe, Lenawee and
Jackson. We are a non-profit organization funded through
corporate and individual donations, grants, registration
fees and special events.
Our coaches are women from the
community passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and
making a difference in the lives of young girls. The coaches
are trained by GOTR Se MI staff to facilitate the program
and are CPR/First Aid certified.
Meet
our amazing coaches!
Danielle Plunkett-Johnson
is our fearless Program Director.
She graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in
Community Relations and Psychology.
Danielle spent six years traveling the U.S. and abroad as
a Team Leader for Learning Forum, where she facilitated,
modeled and promoted academic and personal growth for students
through positive support and communication as well as use
of powerful experiential learning techniques.
