Serve on a Leadership Committee

Leadership Committees

typically meet once monthly to help plan, market and execute major events. Committees include Special Events Committee, Program Support Committee, Race Committee and Team Tiara Committee. Committee members are the core leadership team. These ongoing leadership opportunities are a great way to put your expertise to work, learn a new skill, meet new people, and take on a leadership role!

Community Advisory Committee

is a team of community leaders and stakeholders who provide feedback to the GOTRSEMI Board of Directors, plan our fall Friendraiser, spring Lit From Within event and other exciting projects.

Program Support Committee

works with our Program Coordinator to assemble curriculum folders and coach’s boxes in time for the season.  This committee also assists in site visits to help monitor program quality and hosts volunteer appreciation events.

The 5k Planning Committee

is responsible for planning our fall and spring New Balance Girls on the Run 5k events.

The Solemates Support Committee

is a group of volunteers who recruit and support our charity runners. They plan events and training runs, attend expos and events to recruit new runners and cheer on our runners.
