3 Time Olympic Athlete Sheila Taormina is the Honorary Haunted Hustle "starter"! Sheila, an amazing athlete and fabulouse role model, will be available before and after the races to sign autographs!
DESCRIPTION:
The Haunted Hustle is a family-oriented competitive running/walking event that is open to everyone.
5K TRAIL RUN:
Run through the scenic wild prairie and wooded areas on the south side of Pioneer High School.
COMPETITIVE START 9 AM:
Those runners expecting to finish in 30 minutes or less.
FAMILY START 9:30 AM:
Runners, walkers and GOTR participants who might need more time to finish!
RAFFLE:
Chance for cool raffle prizes for all race participants!
TIMED AND SCORED COMPETITIVE EVENT:
Everyone gets a great nylon backpack full of goodies! This is a timed and scored event. Overall male & female winners receive a free pair of running shoes. Age group awards 3 deep for male and female. Both start waves' results will be combined to determine overall and age group winners. All awards provided by Running Fit!
BENEFITS GOTR:
All proceeds of this event will go to support the hundreds of girls who participate in GOTR of SE Michigan.
