Learn, Dream, Live, Run... and serve in a leadership position at the same time!

Pacesetters is a unique and incredibly rewarding way for 6th through 8th grade girls to get involved in our community. Pacesetters is a leadership position that works with a team of coaches to facilitate the Girls on the Run curriculum to program participants. Pacesetters will also serve as mentors to Girls on the Run participants, get to experience the program first hand and feel a sense of accomplishment that you have made a difference in the lives of the girls and have lots of fun!!

The Pacesetters Program entails approximately 3-4 hours per week at Girls on the Run practices with additional time required for: Each Pacesetter will receive: This worthwhile leadership and skill-building program has a registration fee of $135.

What does the fee include? The actual cost for a girl to participate in the Pacesetters program is $150 however thanks to the generosity of our community and sponsors we are able to charge a reduced fee of $135. Our registration fee helps cover the licensing fees paid to Girls on the Run International for the well researched, scientifically evaluated curriculum, healthy snacks at each lesson for each girl, insurance, training & support provided to the volunteer site liaisons and coaches at each site, CPR and First Aid training for the coaches, fees for renting the space at the school, advertising and registration costs, the printing & supplies (markers, balls, jump ropes, cones, etc.) used for each lesson, the Girls on the Run 5k event and end of season celebration
